Probably the biggest day of the year in Tetbury falls on Monday 31st May 2010 – with the long seen tradition of the Woolsack Races. Hundreds of people line the streets to see strapping young men (and others) carry a rather heavy woolsack up the hill at speed. Said hill reaches a 1 in 4 gradiant, and is even hard for Qetty just carrying her handbag at a snail’s pace.

A street fair, stalls, entertainment and lots of lovely places to eat make for a pretty good day out. So if you don’t have plans for the Bank Holiday make a date with Tetbury.

And of course Qetty Bang Bang will be open from 10.30am – 5pm.
