Fashion Show at Westonbirt

Thursday, April 22nd, 2010

Last week Qetty Bang Bang took part in a Charity Fashion Show at Westonbirt School. We featured a contemporary collection by designer ‘Anatomy’ using red, white and blue with nautical accents. The girls looked fab!

For the second collection of the night, and for the grand finale, we featured vintage lace dresses which looked divine and really wowed the audience.

Here you can see Ashley wearing a hand crocheted lace dress from c.1918, teamed with a wide brimmed vanilla sun hat from Lola, New York.

Secondly, Lara wears a 1950’s dance gown of caramel lace and tulle, with a vintage clutch bag.

Lastly, Gamle wears a 1930’s gown of black lace over pink,  a jet pendant necklace from our repurposed vintage jewellery collection, vintage bag and silver beaded headband from Sido by Sido.

Thanks to Westonbirt School for allowing us to take part, and take photographs in their wonderful school building.

Bye for now,

Zara Phillips at Qetty Bang Bang

Thursday, April 22nd, 2010

Dear Friends,

We were thrilled when Zara Phillips wore a coat and hat combo from designer Suwha, purchased here at Qetty Bang Bang in Tetbury.

Despite the rain on Gold Cup day at Cheltenham, Zara looked so stylish in the black coat and matching cloche hat, trimmed with black patent leather.

Designer ‘Suwha’ takes influence from bygone eras with her collections, making them perfect for the Qetty Bang Bang store.

See you soon,

Back from the US of A

Friday, April 2nd, 2010

Qetty arrived back from the land of plenty with her hands full of goodies. Well, orders for Autumn/Winter 2010 anyway! Handmade leather gloves from Imoni, Vintage inspired flapper dresses, ostrich feather jackets and faux fur stoles from Ambre Babzoe, and lovely silver jewellery from Odette New York (which is coming in very soon)!

It’s been very busy here taking delivery of our new stock. We have feathered and jewelled headbands of Alice in Wonderland ilk, new 1920’s style straw cloche type hats, and a new selection of Alex Monroe jewellery in store. Angel Jackson has sent a lovely selection of bags and clutches from her Spring/Summer Collection – we can’t keep our eyes off those – and any minute now the Anatomy and Hard Hearted Harlot delivery will be coming through the door. Happy times!

We’ve been adding more products to the online shop. If there is anything missing that you’d particularly like to see there please drop us a line at info@Qettybangbang.co.uk

Happy choccie Easter one and all!
